Trainwreck is a comedy, romance directed by Judd Apatow, with the lead actress Amy Schumer as writer. The story is about a magazine writer Amy and her fucked-up life. She has alcoholic and drug problems but those aren't her greatest. She doesn't trust in marriage although she fucks almost every guy she meets and wakes up hangover with no idea where she is.
One day her boss (Tilda Swinton) gives her a job to write about a famous doctor who works with famous athletes (LeBron James, Amar'e Stoudemire etc.). Of course as almost any Hollywood romance they end up falling in love and she starts to believe in a relationship.
There are some comic situations mainly with Amy's father (handicapped funny guy) and Amy's brother in law [her sister's (Brie Larson) husband] which aren't really enough.
With one sentence I can describe the movie as mainstream with nothing special.
The movie is nominated for Best Motion Picture - Musical or Comedy and is well rated (see below) according to me unmerited.
